Help with HausHelden and Bookjournal

How do I invite someone to my household?

Give them your household’s invite code. They sign up in the app and choose “Join household”.

I don’t get reminders.

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → HausHelden to make sure notifications are allowed, and check that the chore has a reminder time.

How do I delete my account?

In the app under Profile → Delete account. What gets deleted is described in the privacy policy.

Do I need an account?

No. Without an account, your library stays on your iPhone only. You only need an account to back it up and use it on several devices.

Barcode scanning doesn’t work.

Allow camera access under iOS Settings → Bookjournal → Camera. Hold your iPhone steady in good light. You can also type in the ISBN.

How do I back up my library?

In Settings you can export your library as a file and import it again later.

How do I delete my account?

In the app under Settings → Delete account. Your data is then removed from our server.

The sign-in link doesn’t arrive.

Check your spam folder and wait a few minutes. Otherwise request a new link; it is only valid for a short time.

I signed in with Apple and hid my email.

Then we only know an Apple relay address. If you have questions, please write from the address you use to sign in to the app.
